One of my favourite things to do is listen to podcasts. I like to listen to them while I’m working, driving, and even while shoveling snow! It’s a great way to learn about something, listen to someone I like discuss an important topic, and/or a nice way to relax.
Of course, I’m pretty picky as to what I listen to when. So, I decided to share my four favourite podcasts that I believe everyone needs to listen to on a regular basis. They’re good in different ways, and I think they’re wonderful. Perhaps you’ll give them a shot and end up loving one or more of them, too.
If you’re looking for unique interviews about a wide variety of topics, The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast is a great pick. The many guests who’ve been interviewed- from celebrities to health experts to business people and so many more. You’re such to find a few episodes that will pique your interest more than others. The hosts- The Skinny Confidential‘s Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and husband Michael Bosstick- are also unafraid to discuss more taboo topics such as sex or sexual health. If those kinds of topics interest you, then this is the podcast for you!
Speaking of podcasts that cover taboo topics, Strategic Slut is another fantastic pick. I previously did an interview with host Courtney Croucher, so I may or may not be a little bias to admit that I love it. But Croucher’s podcast discusses topics that are also important- dating, relationships, sexual health and more. It’s fairly new when compared to the other podcasts mentioned here, but it’s still a fantastic choice.
If you haven’t heard of her before, Brittany Krystle is a personal branding and growth expert who knows a ton about business, influencers, social media and more. She’s also the host Beyond Influential, a podcast that touches on those aforementioned topics, as well as many others. Her solo episodes are insightful, but her interviews are also great to help you learn about so many different things. Even if you’re not an entrepreneur or aren’t looking to build your branding, this is one podcast that you need to try because you’ll definitely learn something!
Canadian YouTuber Kalyn Nicholson is one of my all-time favorites. She’s funny, smart, but she’s also super wise beyond her years. I’ve loved her Coffee Talk series on YouTube for quite some time, so I was excited when she announced that it was becoming a podcast, too. I did have some reservations as to how well it would translate on a different medium, but it’s so good! If you’re looking for solid life advice about various issues, then this podcast will suit you well.
Those are the four podcasts that you need to listen to regularly. Hopefully, you’ll try one of them and end up loving it! Let me know what your favourite podcasts are in the comments down below so that I can give them a listen!
