February 2020 Recap: Ins & Outs

February is over in a couple of days- and with that brings my February Recap. February was something of a crazy month for me in terms of work and my personal life. I enjoyed this month, but I’m also kind of glad that it’s coming to an end.

I won’t continue to drag on and on ay longer. Without further ado, here it is- my February 2020 Recap!

INS:

1. My birthday

February is the month of my birthday! I turned 25 this year, and it was a good birthday. I enjoyed celebrating it with my friends and family the week of. I’m just glad that I was able to celebrate it at all.

2. Yoga

It was late last year when I stopped doing yoga on a regular basis. Working out regularly has caused me to want to get back into doing yoga every morning. Stretching out and relaxing my body has helped me in recovery from said workouts. Plus, it improves my mental health by forcing me to brace myself for the day ahead.

3. Word Stacks

I generally don’t play mobile games. Most of them are so predatory and annoying that I avoid them at all costs. But Word Stacks is too much fun to not play. It provides something of a challenge without being too predatory. Don’t judge me, okay?

OUTS:

1. Winter

Still hate winter. Still waiting for spring to come. It needs to come NOW, please and thank you.

2. Journaling

As much as I love journaling, I’ve fallen off that wagon pretty hard recently. I haven’t touched my journal in several weeks for no real reason, to be honest. Needless to say, I miss it so very much. That’s why March is the month that I’m going to get back into journaling for good.

3. Meditation

I’ve tried off and on for almost a year now to get into meditation. But the idea of sitting completely still and in silence never works for me. I get antsy and find it boring. Maybe I’m looking at it wrong? I’m not sure. But I think that meditation simply isn’t for me- and that’s okay.

That’s the February Recap! While February may have been a good month, I’m excited about the arrival of March! Hopefully, this means that spring will finally appear. Who knows?

xo,

Elizabeth
