April 2020 Recap: Ins & Outs

As I predicted, April was similar to March due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, I feel like each month passed by differently. March felt like it dragged on and on and on with no end in sight. But April seemed to fly by- at least for me. It also doesn’t help that being under quarantine is still a thing.

I debated whether or not to bother doing an April 2020 Recap on my blog because honestly, not much has happened. But I decided to do one anyway, simply because I know many of you enjoy them. So without any further ado, here it is!

INS:

1. Friday the 13th: The Game

This game is incredibly violent and is senseless fun for me whenever I pick it up. It’s a great way to unwind after a long day of work. Call it silly fun- I don’t care. I for one love it!

2. TikTok

I actually haven’t made any TikToks- yet. I have an account right now solely to follow some of my favourite celebrities and content creators. I’d like to make TikToks in the future. Maybe quarantine has gotten to me? Most likely. But at this point, I really don’t care.

3. Making Pancakes From Scratch

Like a lot of people under quarantine, I’ve been using some of my time to make food. I haven’t taken up baking (yet), but I have gotten accustomed to making pancakes for breakfast a lot. My favourite recipes are Banana Pancakes and Greek Yogurt Pancakes. I top them off with caramelized bananas, and they always taste delicious. Perhaps I’ll get into baking next month. Who knows?

OUTS:

1. Working Out in the Evening

Last month, I was going out for runs or walks in the evening. But this month, I decided to switch things up and work out in the morning. It works better with my schedule because it frees up my evening to work, relax, or anything else I’d rather do.

2. The News

I like staying informed about what’s going on in the world; both in my home country of Canada and outside it. But given how much COVID-19-related news comes up anymore, I almost feel like avoiding the news is best anymore. It’s just one of many ways that I’m trying to not hurt my mental health.

3. Coronavirus

As I said in my March 2020 Recap: Do I really need to explain why this is on here?
