It has been a LONG time since I’ve written a blog on here, hasn’t it? Truthfully, I didn’t expect this to be the case. I had a ton of blogs planned for the past couple of months. But as you can see, that ended up never happening.
Why? Well, the biggest reason is that I decided to unceremoniously take a hiatus from both my blog and from posting on social media. Between work issues and family matters, my mental health was so bad that I was in a very dark place. I don’t want to elaborate too much, but let’s just say that I could barely get dressed and put makeup on. It was mentally hard to get through day after day, week after week while feeling so horrible about myself.
I’m not telling you all this so that you’ll feel bad for me. I’m telling you this because it’s why I couldn’t bring myself to create content. But things have gotten better to the point that I feel up to creating content again. I’m happy that things are looking up again. My head and heart are no longer hurting, and I just feel like a happier person overall.
That isn’t all that I wanted to share in this blog post. I’m going to break down everything to let you know what’s coming up.
I’m back to freelancing for a couple of clients. I didn’t expect that to happen, but I’m glad that things are getting better on that front. Outside of that, I’m also working a part-time retail position at a clothing store. I never thought I’d be back in retail, but both the hours and the money are great to have. Needless to say, I’m glad work has gotten better for me.
I do plan on posting blogs on here two to three times per week. I won’t commit to any specific days just because my schedule has been so hectic that I don’t think it’ll be possible to do so. It’s honestly easier for me to do this, so I hope you understand.
As for what topics I plan on covering, I do enjoy the direction I was going in prior to my hiatus. I would like to stick with self-development and other personal topics. That being said, lifestyle is another topic that I’ve thought about getting into. If you would be interested in that, please let me know!

I’ve been back to posting on both Instagram and TikTok on a fairly regular basis for the last week or so. That’s something that I’m going to continue doing for the foreseeable future. I would also like to leverage Pinterest as well, but I still need to do more research how to nail it there. Oh, and I’m writing blogs on LinkedIn again too. So if you want to keep up with my life, just follow me!
Lexi’s Series Update:
If there is one thing that I’ve neglected more than my website or my social media, it would be Wattpad. I haven’t worked on Lexi’s Series in such a long time. But recently, I’ve finally decided to start working on the third book in the aforementioned series. (The title has yet to be determined.) As of posting this blog, I’m currently in the process of outlining it. I’m hoping to start writing and posting chapters of the third book by the end of this summer. Will I actually be able to achieve this goal? I honestly don’t know, but I’m going to try my best.
There’s the life update! I apologize for being gone for as long as I was. But it has helped me to become a better person. I’m excited to share my next blog with you guys in the very near future!
