Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

Stepping out of your comfort zone is something that we all do from time to time. I know I’ve done it before, and I’m sure it will happen again. It’s just something for me to expect to a point.

I believe that stepping out of my comfort zone has benefited me. It has allowed me to experience things I wouldn’t have done otherwise. It allowed me to meet people I wouldn’t have met- be it online and/or in-person. It has opened up so many doors for me- and I’ll always appreciate that.

The idea of stepping out of your comfort zone can be nerve wracking- terrifying even. When you’re in a comfortable place or doing something that you’ve done several times before, it’s easy for things to stay that way. Why change things up or try something new when everything is just fine the way it is?

But I believe that one of the best ways to grows as an individual is by stepping out of your comfort zone. How else can you experience new things and new people? I’ve learned that stepping out of my comfort zone helps me with my confidence, as well as allowing me to better myself overall. Even if I’m not in the best state of mind, I find that stepping out of my comfort zone makes me feel better. That’s why I’ll always encourage others to do the same, even if they think it isn’t worth it.

Even now, I plan on trying to step out of my comfort zone even more. I want to do exactly that by:

  • Doing photoshoots (Trying something new and meeting new people)
  • Creating video content (Trying something new)
  • Trying other social media apps (Trying something new)
  • Writing blogs that’s extremely personal, such as this one (Getting vulnerable online)

There are plenty of ways to step out of comfort zone that I didn’t mention. How do you wish to step out of your comfort zone? Let me know in the comments, or hit me up on social media!

xo,

Elizabeth
