From May to July of 2019, I did some ghostwriting for Strategy With Jason. The idea came up to write news articles that focused on the electric vehicle industry because it’s considered to be exciting and relatively new. I wrote all of the articles, which were later posted on their website, as well as the founder’s LinkedIn profile.
I brainstormed all of the topics from scouring the Internet to find any recent news on the electric vehicle industry. I would then submit all pitches to Asana, and have them approved by the Branding Manager. Once that was complete, I would write the articles in Google Docs. They were typically edited by myself and the Branding Manager. The articles were written and edited long before they were scheduled to be published.
During this time, I tried to be as diverse as possible when writing news about the electric vehicle industry. Because the industry is heavily dominated by Tesla, I had to ensure that other car companies (Cadillac, Nissan, Toyota, etc.) were also reported on to some degree. That way, the articles would continue to be interesting and different, thus keeping readers interested in checking them out.
