The Weekly Spoon

I began writing for The Weekly Spoon in May 2018, when I was hired on as a Contributor. The Weekly Spoon is a small online publication that publishes articles about:

• Music
• TV Shows
• Movies

I was able to write about anything, provided that the topic was pop-culture related, and not already claimed by someone else. Once I finished drafting an article, I would submit it for review. My editor would then give it a once-over before uploading it for readers to enjoy.

The Weekly Spoon used WordPress as its backend, which has given me experience in using the platform. In addition to improving my writing skills, I also improved upon my research skills when digging for information on what I was writing about, as well as time management because I was expected to write at least one article per week.
