TheRichest

I was hired on by Valnet Inc. as a Freelance News Writer in June 2018 for TheRichest. I wrote for the publication until January 2019. TheRichest covers various topics such as:

• Lifestyle
• Gadgets & Tech
• Style

I get my news topics one of two ways. I will either pitch something I feel is news worthy to my editor, and then wait until he approves it before I begin writing it. Another method is choosing a topic(s) to write after my editor uploads several for all news writers to choose from. Once I have my topic approved, I write a draft before sending it off to my editor for revisions. It is then uploaded onto TheRichest for public consumption.

TheRichest uses WordPress as its backend, which has given me experience in using the platform. In addition to improve my writing skills, I have also improved upon my research skills when digging for information, as well as time management because I’m expected to write one article a day minimum.
